Wellbot License

Wellbot is built on OpenMetaverse (LibreMetaverse). The specific license terms depend on the components used:

OpenMetaverse / LibreMetaverse

Wellbot uses the LibreMetaverse library (version 2.4.6.1084) for Second Life connectivity. LibreMetaverse is licensed under the BSD 3-Clause License.

Wellbot Service

Wellbot is provided as a securely hosted service. By using Wellbot, you agree to:

  • Use the service in accordance with applicable laws
  • Respect Second Life Terms of Service
  • Not use Wellbot for prohibited activities

Third-Party Components

Wellbot may include or integrate with third-party components, each with their own licenses:

  • OpenAI API: Subject to OpenAI's Terms of Service and API Usage Policies
  • Ollama: Subject to Ollama's license terms
  • .NET / ASP.NET Core: Licensed under MIT License

Your Content

You retain all rights to:

  • Your bot configurations and prompts
  • Your knowledge base content

Note: Conversation history may be stored to provide memory features. You can clear memory from the HUD.

Attribution

If you modify and redistribute Wellbot, we appreciate attribution to WellspringAI, though it is not required.

Wellbot is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. WellspringAI makes no guarantees about the software's performance, reliability, or suitability for any purpose.
