Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Wellbot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use Wellbot.

Description of Service

Wellbot is a securely hosted bot management system that enables users to create, manage, and operate AI-powered greeter bots in Second Life. Wellbot consists of two HUD products:

• Wellbot Concierge: For store greeters with configurable knowledge bases
• Wellbot Roleplay: For immersive NPCs in roleplay sims

Secure Hosting

Wellbot is securely hosted on our infrastructure. We are responsible for:

• Maintaining secure server infrastructure
• Protecting your data with encryption and security measures
• Ensuring service availability and reliability
• Performing regular security updates and backups

Important: Wellbot may store limited conversation history to provide memory features. You can clear memory from the HUD.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Wellbot only for lawful purposes and in accordance with:

• Second Life Terms of Service
• Second Life Community Standards
• All applicable local, state, and federal laws

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Wellbot to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate any Second Life policies
• Spam or send unsolicited messages
• Impersonate other users or entities
• Engage in any fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Interfere with or disrupt the service

Points and Billing

If you use the points billing system:

• Points are purchased in-world at the Wellspring AI store
• Points are deducted for bot logins and AI responses
• All point transactions are final
• We reserve the right to adjust point pricing with notice

Intellectual Property

Wellbot is built on OpenMetaverse. You retain ownership of:

• Your bot configurations and prompts
• Your knowledge base content
• Your conversation data

Disclaimer of Warranties

Wellbot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All features will work as expected
• The service will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WellspringAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Wellbot.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WellspringAI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Wellbot or violation of these terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to Wellbot immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms of Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
